You've got the bossman down pat. I agree with Nkky regarding the facial expression; you've picked a really good candidate to show off your skill with expression. Good work. The colouring and shading is wonderful, very smooth.

Thanks for the comment Nkky , facial expressions especially smiles are difficult to capture, but his was quite easy because he is very expressive. It looks better in real life, my paintings don’t seem to photograph that well, I probably need to get a better camera and a tripod.

I am really very impressed with your paintings. I have seen a lot of paintings of President Obama and I can safely say this is my favourite. I just love the character and expression. A few weeks ago all the useless media were going crazy about was how unexpressive he is, which I think is complete hogwash. This painting reminds me that I have indeed seen him like this before lol. Hope you and Maria are doing well. Keep up the great work.
